Ceramic Mosaic Workshop
with The heART Studio
at Hunt Country Vineyards

   Artist Beth Conway of The heART Studio will take you through the creative process, and share her skills to personalize your own version of a sunflower or vineyard themed ceramic mosaic.  Each peice unique to each artist participating.  

   This "Make & Take" workshop is designed for all skill levels.  All you need to bring is inspiration and the desire to spend a fun afternoon creating your masterpiece, making new friends, and sipping yummy Hunt Country wine.

Workshop Overview:

The workshop will be held in Hunt Country's historic barn.
Each participant will be provided with all the materials and tools needed to complete their project.
Participants can use the abundant sunflowers grown on the property and the vineyard vistas as subjects and inspiration.
The decorative mosaics will be made with ceramic tiles on backer board.  Grout will be used to finish the projects.
AND, you will be able to take your mosaic creation home the day of the workshop!

Registration includes one glass of wine to be enjoyed in tandem with creating your masterpiece.
OR, if you would rather wait to imbibe, you are welcome to enjoy your glass of wine after class in our tasting room.
Additional wines by the glass or bottle, wine tastings, local beer and picnic snacks are available for purchase.  
We will have LIVE MUSIC by Hanna PK in the tasting room from 1:30pm to 4pm as well.

About Beth Conway and The heART Studio:

Beth Conway throwing clay on the wheel.

Beth Conway is a native to the area and has a background in Environmental Science and Ceramic Research.  She and her husband opened a hands-on art studio for the community near Corning in 2021.  Using the "Start where you are, use what you have, and do what you can" concept to converted their garage space to The heART Studio.  She continues to expand the studio and loves collaborating with other small businesses and members of the community to enrich the lives of others through art.
