Ingredients
  • 1 lb beef stew meat
  • 3 cups water
  • 24 oz V-8 juice
  • 1 cup Hunt Country Classic Red
  • 1/4 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 2 cups tomatoes, canned
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 1/2 cup peas
  • 3/4 cup carrots, sliced
  • 3/4 cup potatoes, unpeeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup corn
  • 1/2 cup lima beans
  • 1/2 cup green beans
Directions

1. In a large pot, combine the first ten ingredients and bring to a boil.
2. Simmer for one hour until meat is tender.
3. Remove meat and cut up. Then return to pot.
4. Add vegetables and heat for another hour.
5. Remove bay leaf before serving.

Serve with a glass of Classic Red or Hunters Red.
