A perfect everyday red wine, our Classic Red is reminiscent of Chianti: smooth, complex in fruit character, and lightly oaked. Great with pizza and other Italian dishes with red sauces, peppery beef dishes, and as a "magic ingredient" in hearty soups and stews. GOLD Medal, 2012 Florida International Wine Competition.

We blend several grapes to give Classic Red its character. The DeChaunac grape gives Classic Red a light raisin or plum flavor, Corot Noir and Chambourcin add berry notes and Noiret a hint of pepper. The Merlot and Cabernet Franc provide additional depth and backbone.
