Hunt Country Vineyards offers you an incomparably beautiful, distinctive and affordable setting for your special event! Our lovely vineyards and airy tasting room play host to all kinds of wonderful occasions:
- Rehearsal dinners
- Wedding ceremonies
- Wedding receptions
- Anniversary and Birthday parties
- Retirement parties
- Club and Association dinners, and
- Employee appreciation celebrations
By leaving the arrangement of any caterer, musician, tent, etc. to you, we can provide our facility and support at remarkably low cost.
Our Vineyards
Nestled among our vineyard rows is a large grassy area for a tent and private parking, perfect for weddings and other large occasions.

- Area is sufficient for a tent and private parking for up to 300 people.
- Clean bathrooms with disabled access are at your disposal inside the Tasting Room.
- Electrical and water lines are available at the tent site for your convenience.
- A member of our staff will be at your disposal throughout for any need that may arise.
- We do not provide tents, but we recommend three regional firms that specialize in tent and party rentals:

- The rental of our vineyard for any 4-hour period is $1000* (plus 8% tax). Your reservation is confirmed with a 50% deposit, with the balance due anytime up to and including the day of the event.
- Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis.
- We are not able to host private outdoor events on Thursday, September 27 through Monday, October 1, 2007 or Thursday, October 2 through Monday, October 6, 2008.
- We do ask that any wine served during the event be from Hunt Country Vineyards. We promise this will not be a hardship! If you haven't tasted our award-winning red, white and dessert wines, rest assured that from our Cabernet Franc to our Chardonnay Champagne, we have a wine to suit every taste. Discounts of 15% for one case and 20% for two or more cases; mixed cases allowed. Wine may be purchased "as opened"; we simply add the cost of wine consumed, less your discount, to your balance.
- We are happy to chill our wines for you. Please let us know your wine preferences a day in advance.
- The breeze in the vineyards does normally carry our guests' music to within earshot of neighbors. On rare occasions, we have asked a festive guest (nicely and discretely) to limit the volume just a bit out of consideration to our neighbors, without whose cooperation these parties would not be possible.
- Properly licensed and insured bar service providers and caterers may also serve beer and liquors. Copies of license and insurance need to be sent to Hunt Country Vineyards before the event.
- Bar service providers. Several of our wedding parties have chosen the following Rochester company to serve them, with good results: BTU Special Events, Inc., 585.442.4746, www.BTUSpecialEvents.com.
Add a Dimension to your Event
- Enliven your event further by offering guests a bottle or two of wine with personalized labels in happy remembrance of the event. Costs are very reasonable! Click here for all the pertinent information.
- We can also enliven your event with a private wine tasting in our Tasting Room or on our deck overlooking the vineyards and the beautiful Keuka Lake valley. Charge is on a per person basis, depending on how many wines you would like to offer and whether you would like cheese along with the tasting.

Our Tasting Room
- Our Tasting Room is available for set-up by your caterer, etc., as early as 30 minutes following our closing to the general public. (Closing times are 6pm from July through October; 5pm from November through June).
- Your event includes use of the Tasting Room, our deck with beautiful views of the vineyards and the Keuka Lake valley, restrooms (with disabled access) and parking, for a 4-hour period.
- Our Tasting Room seats up to 60 comfortably for dinner (e.g. seven 72" tables of 8 people each, plus a smaller table). We can accommodate 80 to 90 persons for a stand-up gathering. Click here for a printable schematic of the Tasting Room.
- Facilities include the use of small kitchen space, stove, microwave and sink by the licensed caterer of your choice.
- Caterers are asked to clean up and leave the area as they found it.
- A CD player is available for any music you would like to play at the event.
- Rental of the Tasting Room for the Friday, Saturday or Sunday evenings is $400*; for Monday through Thursday evenings $300. We are required to add 8% tax. We request a 50% deposit to hold your reservation. The balance is due upon completion of your event.
- A Hunt Country Vineyards staff member will be on hand throughout your event to answer questions, ring up any wine or gift purchases and attend to any other needs guests may have.

Recommended Caterers
Rather than our contracting caterers ourselves, we ask our guests to make direct arrangements with a caterer of their choice. We do have experience with a few caterers in the area (below). If you wish, feel free to inquire about their menu options, prices and available dates.

- We do have functional rectangular tables and chairs but they are not at all elegant. We strongly recommend asking your chosen caterer or some other party to provide tables, tablecloths, tableware, etc., to your liking.
- Please be sure to verify that that any caterer you choose is fully insured and licensed to serve alcoholic beverages.
