From the South, Southwest and Southeast (e.g. OH, PA, NJ or New York City):
- Take Rte. 17 to Exit 38 at Bath, NY.
- Follow signs to Rte. 54 North. (also note the green and white grape cluster signs to KEUKA LAKE WINERIES)
- Take Rte. 54 North 7 miles and turn left onto Rte. 54A.
- Follow Rte. 54A through the village of Hammondsport and then 17 miles North to Branchport. After leaving Hammondsport, you may instead follow the Keuka Wine Route (marked by red and white signs) which runs parallel to Rte. 54A on the upper road, above the lake. Both roads take you to Branchport and Hunt Country Vineyards. Follow Hunt Country signs to the winery.
From the Northwest or North (e.g. Toronto, Buffalo or Rochester):

Take I-90 (NYS Thruway) East to Exit 44 (Canandaigua).

Follow Rte. 332 South through the village of Canandaigua (9.3 miles).

Turn left onto Rts. 5 & 20 East (3.2 miles).

Turn right onto Rte. 247 South through the village of Rushville (11.1 miles).

Rte. 247 swings left and merges with Rte 364 East (5 miles).

At the Hunt Country Vineyards sign, turn right onto Guyanoga Valley Road (County Rd. 29), to Branchport (7 miles).

Turn right at the blinking light onto Italy Hill Rd (0.9 mi), and Hunt Country Vineyards will be on your left, open and ready for you!
From the East and Northeast (e.g. Syracuse, Albany or Boston):

From the I-90 N.Y.S. Thruway, take exit 42.

Follow Rte. 14 South 7 miles through Geneva, N.Y. and about 15 miles further South on Rte. 14.

Take Rte. 54 West 4 miles to Penn Yan.

At the intersection with the Sunoco gas station and RiteAid pharmacy, take Rte. 54A West 8 miles to Branchport.

Follow Hunt Country Vineyards signs) At the blinking light go 1 mile straight up the hill to Hunt Country Vineyards.
From the West (Naples):

From Naples, follow Rte. 21 Southeast, through the business district.

Follow Rte. 53 about 1-1/2 miles toward Prattsburgh, and take 1st left onto Italy Valley Road.

After about 4 miles (at Hunt Country Vineyards sign), turn right onto Italy Turnpike, and follow the road up a hill about 2 miles to its end.

Turn left onto Italy Hill Road. (Black top road curves to the right and downhill.) About 4 miles down the hill, you'll see Hunt Country Vineyards on the right.
