Come one, come
all!...to the Branchport Community Christmas celebration on Saturday, December
13th. ‘Tis the season for red
and green, and in keeping with that theme, we’ll help you and your family have
a great time and save a dime. Organizations
and businesses in Branchport have joined together for a day of celebration, fun
and holiday shopping. Participants,
activities and sales include:
Horse-drawn wagon rides around Branchport (Lawrence
McMinn and his
team of
Percherons, 11am-3pm)
Pictures with Santa (Branchport Fire House, 1-4
pm)
Chili and corn muffins (small fee), and holiday
crafts (Methodist
Church, 11am until gone!)
Make your own ornaments (all ages); Christmas
greens for sale by local 4-H club, cookies and punch (Modeste Bedient Library, 9am-4pm)
Holiday crafts
and fruitcake for sale (St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 10am-2pm)
Live acoustic Christmas music, gingerbread man
decorating ($1), local artists on premises, candy cane hunt, traditional German
gingerbread house creation, Webkinz door prize (Crooked Lake Mercantile,
10am-6pm)
Antique Co-op 15% off sale, gift basket door
prize, drawing at 4 pm (Crooked Lake Mercantile)
Sampling of
Nordic Farms jams and jellies, snacks, 15% off on all wines (Branchport
